Formed
in 2004, Dark Dance Productions is dedicated to the creation of
multimedia material ranging from graphic novels, original screenplays
and feature films. The company presidents are Douglas L. Crill,
chief executive in charge of writing development and Daniel J.
Frey, chief executive in charge of visual development.
Dark Dance functions as the keystone to great
feature film entertainment. Their business is the creation of original
stories that they will develop and present to the film industry.
There is a need for consistent quality story development. Dark
Dance believes in their formula for success.
The life's of Doug and Dan are greatly influenced
by the insights and observations of the late Joseph Campbell. The
new myths created by Dark Dance will weave a tapestry of multi-cultural
legend and myth to inspire, invigorate and excite their followers.
They

Doug Crill - Writer
Chief
executive, Doug Crill, screen writer, has written three screenplays
and has gained agent representation.
Doug's screenplays have been turned into successful graphic
novels. Currently, his graphic novel entitled, "CRY
WOLF," is a bestseller for publisher Open Book
Press.
2004 to PRESENT - Completed the graphic novel series CRY WOLF with noted illustrator
DANIEL J. FREY.
2003-2004 - Wrote the spec script FOREVER AVENUE.
2001-2002 - Wrote the spec script EARTHBOUND and gained agent representation.
1999-2000 - Wrote the graphic novel series THE PIPER and traveled on a national
circuit to promote the publication.
1997-1998 - Wrote the graphic novel series ZOMBIE HITMEN and
traveled on a national circuit to promote it. The series developed an international “cult” following
and a set of autographed copies were auctioned at the world famous “CINEVENT” in
Columbus, Ohio.
1995-1996 – Became an active collector of movie memorabilia and
wrote feature articles on the subject for COLLECTOR magazine.
1990-1994 - Co-wrote and produced a musical version of PLAN NINE FROM OUTER
SPACE entitled –-ZOMBIES FROM PLANET “Z.”

Daniel J. Frey - Illustrator
Chief
executive, Daniel J. Frey, has created dynamic illustrations
for books, magazines, games, fine art prints, products, and
the web. Dan also creates concept illustrations for
feature film, television and events. He holds a BFA in Drawing
from the Cleveland Institute of Art, Cleveland, Ohio, as
well as a BA in Drawing from Baldwin Wallace College, Berea,
Ohio
